Haz Stonks (hazstonks.com) is a retail investor sentiment tracking tool. It ingests public financial discussions from social media and news sources, scores them using sentiment analysis, and blends the results with a machine learning model to surface directional signals on publicly traded stocks. It is a research experiment, not financial advice.
Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, session duration, approximate geographic region, and device type. This data is anonymised and aggregated. Google Analytics sets cookies on your browser for this purpose. You can opt out using Google's opt-out tool.
Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection)
When you submit a tip via the Tipline, Cloudflare Turnstile performs a bot-detection check. Turnstile operates without tracking cookies and without storing personal data on our end. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details on how Turnstile processes data.
User-submitted tips (Tipline)
If you submit a tip via the Tipline, the text of your tip is stored on our servers. No account, name, email address, or other identifying information is required or collected — tips are fully anonymous. All tips are subject to automated content integrity and moderation checks before being published; tips that fail these checks are rejected and not stored. Once approved, tips are publicly visible to all visitors of this site and may be referenced in aggregated sentiment signals. Haz Stonks does not take ownership of or responsibility for the content of user-submitted tips. By submitting a tip you confirm it does not violate any applicable laws and that you take responsibility for its content.
IP address hashing (rate limiting)
To prevent tip spam, a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address is stored alongside each tip submission. This hash is used only for rate limiting (maximum 5 tips per hour). The hash is irreversible — your original IP address cannot be recovered from it.
Contact form submissions
If you contact us via the contact form, your name, email address, and message are processed by Formspree and sent to us by email. See Formspree's privacy policy.
We do not set cookies directly. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to distinguish users and sessions. No advertising or tracking cookies are set by Haz Stonks itself. Disabling cookies in your browser will not affect your ability to use the site.

Data collected by these services is governed by their respective privacy policies. We do not control how these third parties process data.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. Data may be disclosed if required by law.
Submitted tips are retained indefinitely unless removed following a report. Analytics data is retained for 26 months in accordance with Google Analytics' standard retention policy. Hashed IP addresses used for rate limiting are stored alongside tip records.
If you would like a tip you submitted to be removed, please contact us via the contact form on the main page with the text of your tip. We will remove it promptly.
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
